Product Description

Description: "Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks, receives, and the one who seeks, finds, and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened." Matthew 7:7-8 Prayer is an essential tool for healing and is an excellent source of comfort, courage and strength for those who are suffering. During times of illness, disease or a life challenge, nothing is more important than to offer prayer and to join with others in assurance of these prayers. In addition to prayer, the Saints protect us against harm, help strengthen our faith and offer spiritual guidance and healing. They are our models of prayer and their intercession helps present powerful prayers of healing to God on our behalf. Our new Patron Saints of Healing line offers hope and comfort to those who seek healing through the intercession of the Saints. Each holy card and medal set includes a high-quality prayer card that contains novena prayers specific to the affliction, a short biography of the patron saint and an oxidized silver patron saint medal. Holy Card: Full-Color Cardstock 2 1⁄2" W x 4" H (closed) Saint Medal: Oxidized Silver 1" H Includes a full-color holy card with two healing prayers, a saint biography and an oxidized silver patron saint medal. Saint Benedict was born into a noble Roman family in 480. He was educated in Rome, but quickly became frustrated with the lack of discipline from the other students. He decided to remove himself by moving to a mountain cave near Subiaco and living as a hermit. His dedication to God was so respected that the monks of a neighboring monastery asked him to be their abbot. Unfortunately, Saint Benedict's discipline was so harsh that the monks sought to remove him by poisoning his kidneys with tainted drink and bread. The attempt failed and he escaped back to his mountain refuge. In 529, he founded the monastery in Monte Cassino under the Rule of the Benedictine Order, which was to become the basis of rule for all western monasteries. He died in 543 and was canonized in 1220. Saint Benedict is recognized today as the patron of those suffering from kidney disease. His feast day is July 11th. Saint Benedict, Pray for Us.

  1. Let Down 2 Star Review

My son has stage 4 Kidney disease.
I ordered a Saint Benedict Healing card with medal.

After waiting for it so that I could mail it to my son, I was so disappointed to receive a St Bernardine of Siena (Respiratory Ailments) instead, even though it was nice quality. I'm glad I didn't have it sent directly to my son.

I was very happy to get them before Christmas, but very disappointed with the St Benedict cards because the medals were glued to the prayer and when I tried to take the medal off it tore the prayer card so I couldn't say the end of the prayer, now the other card St Jude wasn't glued and was fine.

I don't know how to rate this product as I haven't seen it. I did check with the recipient to see what she thought of it.
As long as she is happy with it, I'm glad I sent it to her. I guess I didn't read the size of the card, I didn't realize it would be that small. Thanks again. I hope St. Benedict answers her prayers.
